World Religion Day Assembly

World Religion Day took place on the 18th January. As philosophy prefects, faith representatives, and as a school we were proud to celebrate its message of unity and understanding through our assemblies on the 21st and 22nd of January. We explored it's background and reflected on why it is so important in today’s world.
We believe World Religion Day plays a key role in encouraging respect, care, and appreciation for different faiths, especially during times of conflict and division.

To recap what we shared, here are a few ways everyone can continue to support diversity and inclusion:

1. Take part in respectful and educational discussions about different religions to build understanding and broaden your knowledge.
2. Support interfaith initiatives and organisations that promote religious equality, freedom, and awareness. As well as, the acceptance of different faiths in our community.
3. Help educate younger students and those around you about different religions and the challenges people may face, encouraging kindness and respect.
Thank you to all of our speakers for their valuable contributions in making the assembly meaningful and inspiring. We wish our community an excellent World Religion Day.
